Since 1982 professionally I have been finding ways to make people laugh.(and if you count playing Lonesome Polecat at the Dogpatch, USA Theme Park, much longer than that)

I have spoken to many of the Fortune 500 companies, including ATT, Sprint, Brinker Restaurants, MCI and others. I have appeared on the Disney Channel and been published in Reader’s Digest. I have opened for the Pointer Sisters, and The Dixie Chicks have opened for me. I’ve appeared with Bill Engvall and a bunch of other people you have never heard of, but trust me they were funny.

I was founding member of the Guava Bomblets, Dallas’ leading improvisational comedy troupe in Dallas, TX and for many years after that I have continued as a speaker and humorist.

One of my strengths is helping people discover their own “humor voice.” That is one of the reasons for the UsingHumor slogan/motto/mantra “NoJokes!” There are hundreds of people who will say “I just can’t tell a joke.” and think because of this they can’t use humor. It’s simply not true, anyone can use humor, and it’s my job to show you how.

Few improv comedians have experience in the corporate world, and fewer still corporate type folks have experience in improv comedy. Comics are concerned with telling jokes, comedians say funny things and humorists say things funny. There are few people on the planet who can put it all together and help YOU find where you need to be on the scale. I am one of them.
