Part of UsingHumor, is finding humor, developing an eye for the off-beat, the unusual. What most people miss are the flotsam and jetsam of humor that surround us.
Today’s Found Humor Friday is a grocery sack from Central Market, an upscale, gourmet grocery store. It is part of HEB Food Stores based in San Antonio, Texas.
The side of the sack reads:
“I am a brown paper bag. More than likely I’ll end up under your kitchen sink with a few of my friends. I might get cut up and wrapped around an old textbook, or just stuck under something messy. It would be nice if someone made me into a kite. I’d like to be a kite. But whatever happens, I’ll never forget the day I carried groceries home from Central Market.”
What fun! A sack with aspirations to be a kite!
